NOx Sensor Delete

Software deactivation of a faulty NOx sensor and its codes.

What is NOx Sensor Delete?

NOx sensors are expensive and fail often; a fault causes vehicle restriction and AdBlue warnings. A NOx delete removes the sensor monitoring and codes, usually planned with the AdBlue/SCR solution.

When is it needed?

Is replacing the sensor better?
If the vehicle stays on the road, yes. A NOx sensor is expensive but it is the durable, compliant fix; we measure the fault and quote the cost first.
Is it legal?
It is an intervention on the emission system and is only for uses permitted by law. Inspection and road compliance remain the owner's responsibility.
Does limp mode go away?
Once the NOx-related restriction is removed the vehicle returns to full power; if another fault exists the restriction can remain.
